KAYLENE WEIRCOX, MD FACS
GENERAL SURGEON
Board Certified and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Dr. Kaylene WeirCox has been required to study for, take, and pass the ATLS Certification exam many times throughout her career. As a locum tenens surgeon, her experience in Acute Care Surgery and the application of the ATLS protocol in the Emergency Room spans Level 1 Trauma Centers and the more rural Level 4 critical care access facilities.
She has been in practice since 2004, graduating from The Ohio State University College of Medicine in 1999. She completed her general surgery residency and internship at the Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine. Dr. WeirCox completed her undergraduate studies at the Oakwood University in Huntsville, AL.
